This event encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment. 2024 focused on land restoration and drought resilience, which marks the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification.

A Collaborative Reading:  April 17, 2024

A Public Reading with Poet Erica Reid, author of Ghost Man on Second (2023) which won the Donald Justice Poetry Prize.  I was invited to introduce her by reading four of my poems: “I wait for the loveliness”, “I’ve Come into Plains Country”, and “With Eyes Wide Open”: A Broken Sonnet Series at The Read Queen Bookstore in Lafayette, CO.
